I edited my post to remove the ambiguity. DD-WRT is configured to allow Admin only from my home's static IP. I am trying to load the Admin when NOT connected to the VPN. Last edited by papertiger on Tue 2:41 edited 2 times in total Each row corresponds to an field on a sub-tab, and has my entry vs. The table shows the tab and sub-tab in the DDWRT GUI. It is possible to physically access to the router for a hard reset if necessary, but will cost a 6hr drive that I’d like to avoid if possible

The command line entries seem to register, and the router reboots, but I still cannot connect to the GUI. I tried the recommended fix using Telnet to the router: When I try to connect to the browser shows ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED and trying gives ERR_TIMED_OUT I am able to Telnet from that IP, but not load the GUI. The DD-WRT router is configured to only permit admin from my static IP. BUT Since configuring, I can no longer access the GUI Admin, and haven't been able to re-enable GUI Admin via Telnet. Prior to configuring OpenVPN, I was able to remotely administer via GUI without issue. I configured Open-VPN on the DDWRT following the tutorial at TekSek. I have a DD-WRT (v v3.0-r27506 std) router behind a motorola modem. Have been researching and banging my head against the wall for some time now, so thought I would see if anyone can assist.
